| IBC will be hosting a marriage retreat on Feb 12 & 13 at the church. The speakers will be Dale and Jena Forehand, of Stained Glass Ministries, based out of Birmingham, AL. Dale and Jena have answered the call of God to share a powerful message, resulting from their marriage, bitter divorce, and then re-marriage. The conference is entitled "Let's Get Real", with Dale and Jena teaching some very practical and foundational principles for relationships. This weekend conference offers a time of praise and worship, in depth Bible teaching, and a special Valentines banquet Saturday evening. Dale and Jena will also share in the Sunday morning services. Some of the principles that will be taught are; What is Safe Mate? What Do I Really Need? and more. The conference is applicable for everyone whethered married or not, no matter what the age. | Welcome to IBC. I hope that you enjoy our web site and will get to know our passion for loving God and loving people.
Independent Bible Church’s motto says a lot about us—we teach the Bible as it is for people as they are. All of our services and classes include practical teaching from the Bible, the only book God ever wrote. We also have plenty of opportunities for people as they are to connect in meaningful relationships. From our well-staffed nurseries, through our loving children’s programs, throughout our relevant student youth ministry, all the way up to our active Seniors’ ministry, IBC is a safe and loving environment where people can live out our commitment as disciples of Jesus Christ.
We’d love to have you visit our services. A friendly welcome is waiting for you. Our Sunday morning services emphasize worship and Bible teaching. The 9:15 service is blended towards a traditional style and meets in the sanctuary and the 10:45 service is blended towards contemporary and meets in the Outreach Center.
There are also plenty of Sunday School classes, Adult Bible Fellowships, and small groups for everyone. I’d love to meet you in person and want to invite you to our Meet the Pastor Guest Reception, held each Sunday at 12:05 PM in room 124 near our Outreach Center.
