Men's Ministries

Men's Small Groups 
We have 7 groups that meet for 8 weeks, 1 hour per week. We have 4 locations and times: Martinsburg - Tuesday 6:00 a.m., 6:30 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.; Hagerstown - Tuesday 7:30 a.m.; Falling Waters - Thursday 6:30 a.m.; Hancock - Wednesday 7:30 a.m. This is an excellent way to connect with other men and to create some structure and accountabililty for spiritual growth. Men's Retreat
This event is held semi-annually at IBC and past retreats have been a great experience. They are held at Camp Joy-El in Pennsylvania on the 3rd weekend every other March.

Workshops, good food, and fellowship, as well as recreation in the camp gym go together to make this a great weekend of renewal for the men of our church.

Men's Prayer Breakfast
An annual event for the men of the church at IBC to bring their sons, neighbors, or co-workers to a morning prayer breakfast to start off the new year, usually on New Year's Day. There is always great food and fellowship, a spiritual challenge for the new year and a time to pray.

Pastor's Prayer Partners
Key volunteers of the church meet during service times on a monthly rotating basis to pray for the worship services and other ministries of IBC while the services are being held. These men continue to pray on a regular basis for the Pastors of IBC for each of their various responsibilities and personal needs.

Other Ministries
There are many other opportunities of service for men at Independent Bible Church. These include but are not limited to serving as Elders, Deacons, Adult Bible Fellowship Class Leaders and Teachers, Ushers, Greeters, Choir and other areas.
