Music

One of the most meaningful ways to express our love to the Lord as we worship together is through music.  IBC is commited to seeing believers grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord.   Our fully graded choir program helps us to develop singers who lead others in the worship of the Lord through song.

Praise Pals (grades 1 - 2) & Music Makers (grades 3 - 6)
Our children's choirs meet weekly (Sundays at 7:00 p.m.) to grow in their understanding of music through singing, games, and movement. The Children's Musical is always a highlight of our year.

Adult Choir
The choir ministry is open to any church member who desires to sing in a hard working group.  Weekly anthems, special seasonal programs, and worship leading are the main roles of this choir.

Praise Team
During our 9:15 & 10:45 AM services and on selected Sunday night services our praise team of instrumentalists and singers lead our congregation in worship with a blend of hymns and more recently written songs and choruses.

Ladies Ensemble
Made up of 8-10 ladies from our adult chior, this ensemble provides special music in the morning worship services every 4-6 weeks.

Handbell Chior
This instrumental group plays a three octave set of English Handbells in morning services throughout the year. New players are always welcome for this enjoyable and unique ministry.

Orchestra
Another instrumental group in which new players are welcome is our orchestra. Comprised mainly of wind instruments, this group plays occassionally on Sunday mornings.

Congregation
The most important musical group at IBC is the largest-the congregation, who lifts its voices together in praise and adoration to God.   All other choirs and instrumentalists lead and support this main "choir". Since worship is an activity of giving, the congregational singing offers all of us a chance to speak to Him and express our love and devotion.
