Senior's Ministries - A Group in Action

IBC provides a great time for our seniors, those 55 and above, in a ministry known as Senior Saints. This is headed up by our Associate Pastor, Curt Lowry.

There is a monthly activity that is enjoyed by a good number of our seniors for fun and fellowship. This includes group trips to various sites in the area during the good weather months. Occasionally, there are longer, overnight trips. When there is no trip, meals are shared together at the church, normally on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. These are a big part of our seniors' fellowship times.

These activities are in addition to the regular opportunities afforded to our seniors at IBC. Many are involved in our Adult Bible Fellowships which meet on Sunday mornings and provide additional fellowship and activity times. Many of our seniors are involved in church ministries such as greeters, ushers, teachers, deaconesses, the choir, helpers in children's ministries, or serving as board members.
