Underground Church Experience

Imagine what it would be like to follow Jesus in a place where church isn’t safe. At our Underground Church experience, you’ll have a role to play as you sneak in a Scripture, take part in a “normal” activity that’s actually a cover for a secret gathering, and work together to encourage one another just like believers around the world do. Our missionaries will join in to share real stories of faith, along with their prayer requests and praises, giving you a firsthand look at what God is doing in Martinsburg and around the world.

This experience may challenge you to think about what it really means to share the Gospel — even when you feel afraid or uncomfortable.

Registration deadline is March 13. Please register with the family members or friends you would like to be placed in a group with. The week of the event, you will receive instructions letting you know where you will be “secretly meeting” inside the church.

The event will include simulated guard interactions and tense, possibly scary situations. Parents, please use your discretion when deciding if this experience is appropriate for your child. Due to the nature of the event, it is not recommended for younger children.
