Walking with Grace Mentorship
This program exists to match mentees with godly mentors to come alongside them to help them accomplish goals set by the mentee. Mentors receive free training and reference material. If you are interested in becoming a mentee or a mentor, please see our Information Sheet and the Application Form.
Grief Share for Women
Our support group is designed to help women cope with grief and loss, particularly after the death of a loved one. This thirteen-week, nondenominational curriculum offers videos, discussions, and resources to provide comfort during the grieving process, featuring biblical concepts for healing from grief.
We usually meet in Room 201 on Monday evenings at 6:00 PM in the spring and on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM in the fall.
For more information, see our Grief Share brochure or contact Susan Thompson stfwwv13@gmail.com.
Grief to Grace
This is a new ministry of IBC Women’s Ministry for women who have lost their husbands through death. The purpose of this ministry is to provide fellowship, encouragement, and support to women on this journey. This group is open to women in the public community who have experienced this loss. They meet quarterly for a luncheon at IBC. The basis of Grief to Grace is 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “God is…… the Source of all comfort.”
Mom’s Cafe
Mom's Café exists as a means to encourage mothers of young children, birth-5yrs. Planned activities throughout the month will strengthen you spiritually and connect you with other mom's in your season of life.
This year’s session will begin on September 14, 2026 and end on May 3, 2027. For updates and other information, check out our Facebook page or the Women’s Calendar.
